Performance
Earning a 121-horsepower rating, a 1.6 L gas engine propels the 2020 Venue. Featuring the patented Smartstream technology, the I-4 powertrain cranks out 113 pound-feet of torque. The valvetrain in this four-cylinder engine includes the CVVT system for efficient operation. Rated at 147 hp and 132 lb-ft, a 2.0 L I-4 engine powers the 2020 Kona. Every combustion cycle in this compact crossover SUV is controlled by the D-CVVT technology. This Hyundai model is driven by the SHIFTRONIC automatic transmission, which has six fixed speeds. Carrying the EcoShift nameplate, a dual-clutch transmission is available for enhanced performance. The proprietary DCT system creates up to seven different gear ratios. With access to an array of gear combinations from the Intelligent Variable Transmission, you'll enjoy a truly custom drive in the 2020 Venue. This lightweight Hyundai vehicle also offers a manual gearbox with up to six gear sequences. You can select the Snow Mode and two other settings from the Drive Mode Select. Similarly, two modes are at your fingertips in the Kona's Drive Mode Select. An all-wheel drive system is optional for this athletic Hyundai car.
Appearance
The 2020 Venue comes in several alluring paint options, such as Apple Green or Scarlet Red Pearl. Do you want a finish that's more suitable for urban roads? Choose Black Noir Pearl or Stellar Silver. This compact Hyundai crossover SUV rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels, which are part of the Premium Package. You may install 18-inch alloy wheels on the 2020 Kona. Some of the car's hot exterior colors include Pulse Red, Sunset Orange and Lime Twist. If you'd like a darker finish for the aerodynamic body, select Surf Blue or Ultra Black. Real leather upholstery is available for the car's steering wheel and front seats. Leatherette and cloth are nicely integrated into the 2020 Venue, which also offers an all-new denim theme for the cabin. The 2020 Venue's front grille is painted in black or treated with a chrome finish. You can also select a white roof to contrast the main color of the body. This sporty Hyundai car is equipped with projector-style LED headlights. Traditional projector-type headlights are standard on the 2020 Kona. Both Hyundai crossover SUVs are also equipped with LED DRLs and taillights. Additionally, side rails are installed on the roofs of these vehicles for enhanced hauling utility.

Safety
Engineered to predict potential crashes, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist technology is standard in the 2020 Venue and Kona. As you approach a crosswalk, the Pedestrian Detection scans the area for people. Both Hyundai crossover SUVs boast the Lane Keeping Assist, which corrects the steering system when you make dangerous changes in lanes. These compact crossover SUVs have the Blind-Spot Collision Warning that looks for any moving cars in neighboring lanes. When it's too dangerous to change lanes, the BCW generates flashing signals in the side mirrors. The Venue and Kona offer the Driver Attention Warning, which is triggered by inconsistent steering and braking patterns. If you're too tired or distracted, the DAW issues graphical alerts in the instrument panel. Both Hyundai cars are compatible with Bluetooth, so you can keep your hands on the steering wheel while handling calls or SMS text messages.
